Evan Katz, a former music journalist, who has collaborated with acclaimed director Adam Wingard on several features, including "Pop Skull" (2007), as well as with Jim Mickle as a screenwriter/producer on his Sundance channel TV-series, "Hap And Leonard." His directorial debut "Cheap Thrills" (2013) premiered at SXSW where it won the Midnighter Audience award.Evan Katz will be at HÕFF introducing the European premiere of his second feature film "Small Crimes" starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ("Game of Thrones").
Greta Varts is a freelance Estonian film critic, screenwriter and 1st assistant director. She has graduated from University of London with a BA in Cultural History and a BA and MA in Film Arts, specializing in Screenwriting from Baltic Film and Media School. She has worked on various Estonian films, TV-productions and international commercials both as 1st AD and a screenwriter. She also collaborates frequently with local newspapers and other editions as a film critic and works as a lecturer of Film Analysis and general Film Studies.

Nicola Piovesan (b. 1979) was born in Venice, Italy. He graduated in Film Language in 2004 at Bologna University. As a filmmaker, he has won more than 60 awards in hundreds of festivals worldwide, directing short films, animations, documentaries and music videos. He has also taught cinemaboth in Italy for three years, as well as at the Baltic Film School in Tallinn. He lives in Estonia since 2013, working as a freelancer.
